Program Evaluation Consultant: Dr. Glen White

Glen W. White, Ph.D.,  has been involved in the rehabilitation and independent living field for over 30 years. He is currently a  professor of Applied and Behavioral Science and Director of the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Independent Living at the University of Kansas. Dr. White's own experience with a significant disability (spinal cord injury) has shaped the consumer relevance and authenticity of his research and advocacy efforts. That perspective, coupled with his formal training and expertise as a researcher and faculty member, will ensure that our evaluation procedures reflect the concerns of people with disabilities. Dr. White is past president of the National Association of Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers, past Chair of the American Public Health Association’s Section on Disability , and an advisor and consultant to many national organizations.
